Dayton, OH – February 17th, Technology First (formerly the Greater Dayton IT Alliance) will host a discussion on The Next Generation Workforce. Millennials are commonly known as individuals born between 1979 and 1999. They are 80 million strong and have begun to enter the workforce. This generation of young adults has grown up with technology and can’t imagine life without their cell phones, iPods, video games, and being online.
Information, communication, and entertainment -- in both visual and audio form -- are now available instantaneously, ubiquitously, and many times simultaneously. How will educators and employers adapt to and try to leverage this generation? Could this generation begin to transform business as usual and the work place is a positive way?
