Sinclair Community College is a comprehensive community college with an enrollment of over 25,000 students that offers career and transfer programs leading to an associate degree, certificate programs, and continuing education opportunities. Sinclair Community College is seeking a tenure track faculty member for the Computer Information Systems Department beginning September 1, 2010. Job Qualifications
Requirements: • Master's degree required • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline required • Windows 2003 MCSE • Microsoft MCITP (core certifications must be completed by June 2011) • Working knowledge of computer network administration • Active membership in professional IT organizations a plus • Classroom teaching experience preferred but not required • Candidates must be familiar with learning technologies and the use of these technologies in the classroom • The candidate must be available to teach days, evenings, and weekends and at the satellites • The candidate must be able to advise students in concentration areas. *Candidates will be required to demonstrate teaching strategies, which focus on student-centered learning via a 10-minute presentation during the interview.
