IT Suppliers Partnering to Grow Their Business Through Tech Source

While the Tech Source program primarily provides connections between end user IT buyers and IT suppliers, the program also supports connections between IT suppliers. Through visibility in the repository and personal networking at seminars, IT suppliers are forming partnerships to offer more complete solutions to Dayton region customers and to support growth in theirbusinesses. One example of an IT supplier connection is the relationship between Uptime Solutions and GarberConnect, who met at a Tech Source seminar in 2006.
Doug Davidson from Uptime Solutions shared his experience: “Our need is to find value added reseller partners in the West Central Ohio area who need good quality critical support systems (power protection, air conditioning & monitoring) to support the solutions they are offering to their end customers. GarberConnect just so happens to fit that mold. We take advantage of every opportunity we get to exhibit at the Tech Source seminars because Information Technology is a very important part of our business model. Exhibiting to and networking with attendees and fellow exhibitors continues to help grow our business.”
Jeff King from GarberConnect comments: “Our immediate need was to be able to provide our customers with reliable and high quality UPS systems for critical networks.
