Again this June, the Greater Dayton IT Alliance is hosting the IT in Healthcare Tech Source educational seminar in conjunction with the Miami Valley Medical Group Management Association and the Professional Association of Healthcare Office Management. With strong support from Premier Health Partners and Kettering Medical Center Network the seminar will provide a forum for healthcare professionals to learn more about technology and potential suppliers. In 2004, the Greater Dayton IT Alliance Board of Trustees committed to increase the awareness and adoption of technology among regional industries through their 3 year strategic plan. Today’s collaborative event focuses on those issues important to the healthcare industry.
Some of the information shared during today’s event will be a glimpse of the “Hospital of the Future” courtesy of Microsoft Corporation while Kroger will explain ePrescribing. Learning more about electronic medical record options, filling claims with Anthem, understanding Medicare’s Physician Quality Reporting Initiative, and finding better ways to execute patient satisfaction surveys will be choices for breakout sessions.
