Member Mention: Antioch Univeristy McGragor Announces Its MIIND 2007 Summer Seminars

June 2007

Yellow Springs, Ohio - Antioch University McGregor will host its second annual series of summer seminars beginning June 18 and ending August 24. The 5-day seminars are part of the McGregor Institute for Intellectual Development (MIIND) that seeks to provide engaging learning opportunities to adults who believe that exercise of the mind is essential to maintaining a youthful and vigorous quality of life. This series of Chautauqua-like seminars is available to anyone interested in stretching their imagination, deepening their knowledge base or those who simply appreciate the opportunity for a stimulating learning experience.

All Summer 2007 MIIND Seminars can be taken on a non-credit (audit) basis. Depending on the seminar, some can also be taken for undergraduate (4 hours/quarter or 2.5 hours/semester) or graduate Educational Leaders Seminar Series (ELSS) credit.

Attendees may choose to register for one seminar, multiple seminars or all eight sessions that comprise the complete learning series. Each session will accept up to 50 participants. The seminars are held Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 3:30 pm.

A Continental breakfast and light lunch will be provided each day at no extra charge.
