The Entrepreneurs Center (TEC), an Ohio Edison Technology Incubator, is reaching out to serve the needs of entrepreneurs throughout the greater region. Through a new offering of services, TEC can now assist companies outside of the incubator facility.
In February of 2008, The Entrepreneurs Center hired Jim Hill as Business Incubation Manager. Through this new position, Hill will spearhead offsite assistance to entrepreneurial companies throughout the Greater Dayton Region.
TEC's new Affiliate Membership program provides an avenue to assist entrepreneurs who are not ready for space at the incubator. Afilliate services include business assessment, access to TEC's Know-How-Network, annual reviews, financial assistance, business mentors and limited access to our facility at 714 East Monument Avenue. The program is priced to fit the tight budgets of most early-stage entrepreneurs.
In addition to these offerings, TEC is establishing a "Satellite" Incubation Program, an approach that will provide professional incubation services to communities that wish to assist small businesses but do not have the resources to hire full time staff.
