Volunterr Leadership

June 2009
As we move into our 2009-10 fiscal year on July 1, the coming year offers new challenges and opportunities. Obviously the economy at the global level is struggling but is beginning to show signs of recovery. Companies are using this time to reassess and explore their options. Technology First – like any other organization – must look at changes in the landscape and re-tool to ensure we are offering the right programs at the right time.
Over the last several months the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees has been developing a new strategic plan for Technology First. Over the course of the next several months under board leadership, working committees that support membership, events, communication, leadership, and workforce development will begin engaging the IT community and executing programs based on this new plan.
Please stay tuned to our communications and announcements as we ask interested professionals and volunteers to select a committee of interest and dedicate some time to realizing our revised strategic plan. We hope you agree that with the hands of many the load gets lighter.
While all companies are continuing to do more with fewer resources, Technology First maintains and benefits from a strong and deeply committed Board of Trustees. We would like to recognize those Board members that have contributed over the last year
