EMPLOYERS WHO WANT TO PARTICIPATE WILL:

• Have a case manager assigned to them to help work for successful outcomes for the employer and the employee.
• Get employees who have been through training in workplace etiquette and expectations. The employees are economically disadvantaged teenagers and young adults ages 14-24.
• Help identify the employees who will work at their job site. In 2008, the “Youthworks” program served 1,650 youth between the ages of 14 and 17. This year, we hope to serve 750 more!
• Terminate their involvement at any time.
• Give the next generation of Montgomery County workers the experience they need to help grow our economy.
