Mike Wood of Strategic Data Systems Earns Prestigious MVP from Microsoft

November 2009

Strategic Data Systems (SDS) announced Mike Wood has been awarded “Most Valuable Professional” (MVP) by Microsoft in the area of client application development. This is a highly prestigious accomplishment as there are fewer than 4,000 active Microsoft MVPs worldwide.

“Being part of the software development community brings you into a group of very intelligent people who are passionate about technology,” stated Wood. “The community has been a big part of my life over the last five years and has helped me grow my career and fuel my passion for the work I do. I am very honored to receive this recognition from Microsoft.”

“Mike is well respected throughout the local IT community and this broader recognition from Microsoft only confirms his expertise and community leadership,” said Keith Stafford, SDS Managing Partner. “We’re proud to have such a valuable team member at SDS.”

According to Microsoft, the MVP Award recognizes exceptional technical community leaders from around the world who voluntarily share their high quality, real world expertise with others. Microsoft MVPs are a highly select group of experts representing technology’s best and brightest who share a deep commitment to community and a willingness to help others.
