Ray & Barney Group to Spin-Off and Move Headquarters to Mason

The IT consulting team from Ray & Barney Group, a recruiting and consulting company based in Columbus, will be spinning off as a separate IT consulting organization, and will now be headquartered in the heart of Mason. The new company, Afidence, Inc., was formed in August 2009 by Bryan Hogan, a former senior partner with Ray & Barney Group and consists of 15 consultants working at client sites throughout the region. Some of their existing local clients include Sinclair Community College, DRT Manufacturing and Montgomery County MRDD.

According to Hogan, by 2011 they plan to grow substantially and possibly double in size through their clients increasing demand for business driven technology solutions and consultants that have exceptional technical, project management and communication skills. However, he is quick to point out that they will only achieve this by employing the same integrity-based, resultsoriented business practices they have for the last nine years, not overly aggressive sales programs.
