BrainRack is an online platform that offers clients access to top talent, fresh ideas, and brand recognition by offering creative individuals (innovators) the opportunity to submit solutions to “challenges”posted by companies. A “challenge” is a question that a client posts on BrainRack.com for innovators to respond to. Innovators then compete to provide solutions and expose their talents to the hosting company. A sample challenge from a university could be,“How can universities create an environment that stimulates entrepreneurship?”
Clients that join our network and post challenges will receive dozens of responses from creative minds that are looking to prove themselves to businesses.The client provides a financial reward that will be divided amongst the winning solutions. Apart from the financial reward, there is a ranking component that is visible on the website that facilitates external exposure of each innovator’s success.
Feedback from customers is helping develop an additional application where “challenges” are private and can only be accessed by employees of the company.This product is called “BrainRack Internal”. BrainRack launched in March of 2010 and has had the fortune of working alongside companies such as: Kroger Co, Chiquita,The Limited Brands, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Sherwin Williams.
BrainRack also placed 2nd in both the Harvard University’s New Venture Competition and the University of Dayton’s Business Plan Competition.
