TRAINING EXCHANGE

Dayton’s Gateway to Local, Affordable, High Quality Training

TECHNICAL TRAINING CHALLENGES

Responding to member company needs is the primary purpose for any trade association. Many companies face the challenge of retaining a skilled workforce. Keeping personnel trained in current technical applications as well as necessary business and leadership skills is a difficult task.

Because of this, Technology First created the Training Exchange to help busy managers and supervisors find training for their staff. Locating training can be a time-consuming process, especially when you need a specific course offered by a training provider that is high quality, locally available, and affordable.

ECONOMIES OF SCALE

The Training Exchange uses the aggregated model. Your need to train 2-3 people can combine with similar needs of other companies and result in pricing normally reserved for full classes. Classes can also be customized and delivered on your site. The Training Exchange arranges for timely, cost-effective training. Courses are not restricted to technical content; the need for leadership and business skills extends across all segments of your business.

MANAGED SERVICES

The services provided through the Training Exchange benefit the IT employee, manager, and training coordinator by managing course content and vendor contracts, then scheduling and enrolling students. Using the technical expertise of our providers, we have facilitated the customization and consolidation of course content. The Training Exchange Advisory Council meets quarterly to discuss members’ upcoming training needs and find common courses for the coming months.

ENSURING QUALITY

Quality training is something every company hopes for but finds nearly impossible to guarantee. The Training Exchange works with premier training providers with proven track records so that every training experience is a great one!
