Job title/ Department: Senior Project Manager / IT
Reports to: Director of IT
Pay Grade/ Pay Band: $75K - $80K with Bonus Potential of $8K Annually

Job Summary

Project management responsibilities include delivering every project on time and within scope. Project manager will have a background in business skills, management, communication, and analysis. Project manager will be responsible for communication of project status, maintaining the project schedule, working closely with the Assistant IT Director, identifying and managing risks and issues, and will ensure all project tasks are completed and archived within the project. The project manager will be experienced in managing projects in a distribution environment utilizing both Agile and Waterfall development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities & Expectations

Typical duties include:
- Work closely with the Assistant Director of IT to coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Work closely with the Assistant Director of IT to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within the scope
- Develop project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Communicate resource needs to Assistant Director of IT
- Develop a detailed project schedule to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope and schedule
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
- Report and escalate items to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Utilize agile project management techniques as well waterfall techniques

Qualifications and Requirements [Include Training/Certification]

- Bachelor’s degree required
- Proven working experience as a Project Manager (3 years minimum)
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- PMP certification, PMI-ACP certification a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development
- Familiarity with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Working Conditions & Dress Code
- Must be able to work flexible hours through the week and, sometimes weekends
- Dress code is business casual; closed-toe shoes are suggested
