The strength of an organization’s technology department begins with its leadership. The CIO Council is a group of the most Senior Information Technology leaders in the Dayton region who meets regularly to discuss emerging relevant topics and best practices. This collaborative is a valuable forum to learn new or different approaches, generate ideation, and expand existing processes.  It is vendor agnostic, transparent, and all about sharing value-add solutions and experiences.

To navigate the aggressively evolving landscape of the internet, connect with our Cybersecurity Peer Group. They meet to discuss current events and relevant topics dealing with cybers attacks, incident response, and current security awareness standards. The atmosphere is interactive and intent on information sharing. Attendees come with real-life challenges to solve and leave with crowd-sourced ideas to try.

Business Intelligence is like a data lake. Don’t sail on it alone. Join our Data Analytics Peer Group where we champion rowing in the same direction.  Representatives of multiple industry sectors gather to discuss common challenges, share experiences with various applications, and give opinion on breakthrough processes related to data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. After analyzing the data, we think you’ll find attending a meeting is a wise decision.

Hybrid and Work From Home arrangements are being normalized. SaaS is becoming Everything as a Service. This makes staying up to date with the latest security and ease-of-access offerings vitally important. Our Infrastructure/Cloud Peer Group is a forum for technologists to connect and exchange experiences related to the IT infrastructure and cloud management space. You will hear about best practices for hardware, software, networking and more in both physical and virtual environments.

Anyone who champions elevating women in the technology field is welcome at our Women 4 Technology Peer Group. Women and men from Entry Level to Senior Executive attend our meetings to exchange advice around leadership, networking, professional development, and mentoring.

Are you holding a career fair and need to get the word out? Are you a Computer Science educator looking for an industry guest speaker? is your organization looking for interns? Do you need volunteers to judge your IT competition? All these questions and others like them, are welcome on the Workforce Development page.
