We would like to share an exciting day we have planned for Northridge Middle School (6-8th grade) on May 8, 2023. Many of you have heard of Career Day, but we want to take it to the next level and have our students think about their future in all aspects of their life. We are planning a day for our students to experience different workshops, presentations, and demonstrations where they can explore all the things they can do in their future. We are looking for presenters to share with our students about opportunities for their future selves.

Who can help? Any community members, family members, parents who would like to share their careers, interests and hobbies. We are looking for artists, photographers, chefs, yoga instructors, police officers, welders, world travelers, elected officials, entrepreneurs, auto mechanics, colleges, military,community partners, etc.  

What is needed? Presentations to students that help them “see” themselves in their future. Presenters will have the option to do hands-on presentations/workshops (40 minutes) for groups of students for 5 different sessions or set up tables to talk to all students throughout the day. The first session will begin at 8:15am and will end at 12pm. Set-up will be from 7-7:30am.
