Dr. Subhashini Ganapathy, Associate Professor & Chair of Biomedical, Industrial and Human Factors Engineering, Wright State University

Subhashini Ganapathy, Ph.D. is an educator and a leader in the area of user experience and human system interaction. Subhashini is an Associate Professor & Chair in the department of Biomedical Industrial and Human Factors Engineering, College of Computer Science and Engineering, Wright State University, Dayton OH.  Prior to joining WSU, she was a senior user experience researcher at Intel Corporation, Portland OR for six years, where she was responsible for research and development activities directed towards developing user experience methods that deliver Intel's next generation of products and platforms. She has published over 40 articles in premier journals, conferences, and as book chapters. She holds four patents in the area of mobile augmented reality.

She directs the Interaction, Design and Modeling Lab, that explores fundamental and applied research in the area of Human Computer Interaction. This lab conducts work that seeks to understand how technology can help enable more healthy, socially connected, reflective living.
